Cooperative Bank of Oromia: Vacancy Announcement

The Cooperative Bank of Oromia, one of Ethiopia’s largest financial institutions serving over 10 million customers, is seeking qualified professionals for the following permanent positions at its Head Office in Addis Ababa.


Open Positions

1. Valuation Auditor

  • Location: Head Office
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of total experience, with at least 2 years specifically in asset valuation, construction/engineering cost estimation, collateral inspection, or within a banking credit/audit environment.

2. Legal Auditor

  • Location: Head Office
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB) or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, with at least 2 years specifically within banking audit, compliance, or legal operations. Professional certifications in audit or compliance are considered an advantage.

3. Senior Financial Risk Management Officer

  • Department: Risk Management Sub-process
  • Location: Head Office
  • Education: Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Management, Accounting and Finance, Business Management, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 6 years of professional experience (preferably in banking/financial services), including at least 3 years of specific banking experience in risk management, loan review, credit management, strategy, research, finance, treasury, compliance, or branch operations.

Employment Details

  • Terms of Employment: Permanent (following the successful completion of a probationary period).
  • Remuneration: In accordance with the Bank’s competitive salary scale and comprehensive benefit scheme.
  • Registration Deadline: May 18, 2026 (Tomorrow)
