Wegagen Bank S.C. — External Vacancy Announcement

Wegagen Bank S.C., one of the leading private commercial banks in Ethiopia, is seeking qualified and energetic fresh graduates for the following position within its Hawassa District branches.

Position: Graduate Trainee

Job Purpose: To support the Bank’s effective service delivery to customers and ensure customers are served with due care and maximum efficiency.
Locations (Hawassa District): Werka, Bensa Daye, Adola, Shinshicho, and Jinka Branches.

Qualification & Requirements

Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Management, Business Administration, Economics, Accounting, Banking and Finance, Marketing, or other Banking business-related fields.
GPA Requirement: CGPA of 2.75 and above.
Graduation Year: Only 2025 & 2026 graduates are eligible to apply.
Age Limit: Must be 25 years old or younger (Age ≤ 25).
Exit Exam: National Exit Exam result of 50 or above.
Experience: Zero experience required (Fresh Graduates).
Certification: COC (for Level IV) is mandatory.
Specialized Knowledge: Knowledge of Shari’ah law and principles pertaining to Interest Free Banking Operations is required and compulsory.
