Scaling its localized infrastructure, the company inaugurated the state-of-the-art Kilinto Brewery near Addis Ababa with a major investment of EUR 310 million. As a leading global brand, Heineken is launching corporate tracks alongside its premium Global Graduate Program to accelerate the development of future operational leaders.

The company is actively accepting applications for three (3) distinct career tracks across its prime production facilities.

Open Positions & Specifications

1. Packaging Operator

  • Location / Duty Station: Bedele Brewery (Oromia)

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree (BSc) in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical discipline.

  • Experience Required: 0 to 2 years of experience. Fresh graduates with zero years of experience are fully eligible.

  • Preferred Background: Practical floor experience within automated manufacturing, beverage production, or logistics operation environments is highly desired.

  • Core Mandate: * Execute highly structured technical process and product-related packaging tasks on the factory floor while driving down production losses.

    • Uphold rigid safety protocols, Life-Saving Rules (LSR), food safety regulations, and continuous-improvement frameworks (5S, HACCP, TPM).

    • Conduct routine machinery cleanings, basic maintenance diagnostics, and standard startup/shutdown operations on packaging units.

2. OTC (Order-to-Cash) Administrator

  • Location / Duty Station: Kilinto Brewery (Addis Ababa)

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution majoring explicitly in Accounting, Finance, or closely related financial tracks.

  • Experience Required: Minimum of 1 year and above of active service in professional corporate accounting and financial recording setups.

  • Core Mandate: * Supervise general brewery transactional accounting, posting incoming sales proof of payments (bank collections/deposits), and verifying manual invoices.

    • Manage site petty cash mechanisms (establishment, verification, and timely replenishment workflows).

    • Apply solid command of local tax legislation, financial reporting, and technical accounting principles using advanced MS Office spreadsheets.

3. Key Account Sales Executive

  • Location / Duty Station: Kilinto / Addis Ababa Hub

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree (BA or BSc) in any field of study from a recognized university.

  • Experience Required: Minimum of 4 years of proven sales experience operating within a Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) corporation.

  • Preferred Asset: Direct experience navigating complex key accounts, corporate hospitality networks, and premium venue negotiations.

  • Core Mandate: * Drive volume and value growth across the company’s premium beer portfolio by cultivating long-term strategic relationships with tier-one retail outlets.

    • Optimize on-premise visual execution, maximize product visibility, and scale market penetration through targeted B2B negotiations and joint business plans.
