As part of its strategic market expansion and commercial growth plan, Digicom Intelligence System PLC is seeking to recruit a qualified, highly competent, and dynamic professional for its head office operations in Addis Ababa.

Position: B2B Sales Manager

  • Place of Work: Addis Ababa, Ethiopia
  • Employment Type: Full-Time
  • Experience Level: 5–8 years of professional experience in related fields
  • Language Requirement: Fluency in the Afaan Oromoo language is strictly required.

Role Objective:

The B2B Sales Manager is responsible for driving revenue growth by acquiring new business clients, managing strategic accounts, and expanding Digicom’s overall market presence. The role involves identifying customer needs, developing tailored technology solutions, preparing commercial proposals, negotiating contracts, and building robust, long-term business relationships.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Business Development

  • Identify and aggressively pursue new business opportunities across corporate, government, NGO, and SME sectors.
  • Develop and execute data-driven sales strategies to achieve corporate revenue and growth targets.
  • Generate qualified institutional leads through strategic networking, corporate referrals, cold outreach, and market research.
  • Build and maintain a healthy, transparent sales pipeline.

2. Sales Management

  • Manage the complete sales cycle seamlessly from initial lead generation to final contract closure.
  • Conduct structured client meetings to thoroughly understand business requirements and propose appropriate technology solutions.
  • Prepare standard quotations, detailed technical proposals, presentations, and commercial offers.
  • Negotiate pricing structures, complex contract terms, and corporate service level agreements (SLAs).
  • Consistently achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.

3. Account & Relationship Management

  • Build, cultivate, and maintain long-term relationships with key business customers and institutional clients.
  • Maintain regular communication with existing accounts to cross-sell and identify additional business opportunities.
  • Ensure absolute customer satisfaction throughout the sales, deployment, and implementation processes.
  • Coordinate efficiently with internal technical and project management teams to ensure successful solution delivery.

4. Market Intelligence

  • Continuously monitor evolving market trends, competitor activities, and corporate customer needs.
  • Identify new market segments and strategic business niches for technological interventions.
  • Provide constructive customer feedback to the engineering team to support product and service improvement.

Required Skills & Core Competencies:

  • Strong background in B2B technology sales with excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to engage confidently with C-level executives and key decision-makers across various industries.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and consistently meet strict performance targets.
  • Strong organizational, coordination, and professional networking skills.
