Position: Branch Manager I

Job Purpose
The Branch Manager is responsible for planning, organizing, leading, and controlling all banking activities of the branch. The role ensures full compliance with the Bank’s operating procedures, regulatory directives, and national laws, while driving business growth, customer service excellence, and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, organize, lead, and control branch banking operations
- Ensure compliance with bank policies, procedures, regulatory directives, and country laws
- Coordinate branch sales and business development activities
- Lead customer service initiatives and promote operational excellence
- Prepare and submit annual budgets, work plans, activity, and progress reports
- Represent the Bank through community engagement and maintain strong relationships with the business community
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Banking & Finance, Accounting, Management, Economics, Business Administration, or related fields
Required Experience
- Minimum of 7 years of professional banking experience
- At least 1 year as Customer Service Manager or in an equivalent supervisory/managerial role
Required Competencies & Skills
- Strong leadership and team-building skills
- Excellent analytical and organizational skills
- Ability to work effectively under pressure
- Sound knowledge of modern management techniques
- Ability to set, distribute, and manage sales targets and performance goals
- Good understanding of commercial business law, banking rules, and regulations

- Customer Relationship Management (CRM) skills
