The Trainee Banker program is a structured entry-level path tailored to ground fresh graduates in the operational, compliance, and customer-facing fundamentals of modern banking.
- Rotational Exposure: Trainees undergo systematic departmental rotations through essential branch pillars, including Front-Office Tellering, Clearances, Back-Office Accounting, and Customer Service Desks.
- On-the-Job Learning: Gain hands-on competency in checking documentation accuracy, applying central bank regulatory procedures, and processing multi-tiered financial transactions under active mentorship.
- Career Pathway: Successful completion of the initial learning cycle primes trainees for accelerated advancement into permanent, career-defining roles such as Junior Banker or Customer Service Officer (CSO).
Eligibility Criteria & Applicant Profile
Candidates must meet the following strict academic benchmarks to qualify for the selection pool:
- Academic Qualification: Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Banking and Insurance, Accounting, Management, Economics, Business Administration, or closely related commercial fields of study.
- Graduation Timeline: Limited strictly to 2018 E.C. fresh graduate students.
- Academic Performance Baseline: Must possess an exceptional cumulative Grade Point Average (GPA) of 3.5 or above.
- Prior Experience: Not required. This role is designated explicitly for unexperienced fresh graduates demonstrating exceptional raw potential.
