About the Organization

VisionFund Microfinance Institution (S.C) is established to provide financial services to low-income communities in both rural and urban areas across Ethiopia. The institution operates in multiple regional states and focuses on financial inclusion and economic empowerment.


Position 1: Junior Customer Service Officer

Key Responsibilities

Promotion & Marketing

  • Conduct market research and client outreach
  • Promote financial products and attract new clients
  • Support branch planning and budgeting activities

Loan & Saving Operations

  • Process loan applications and conduct credit appraisal
  • Evaluate collateral and prepare loan documents
  • Disburse loans and collect repayments
  • Maintain proper documentation and reporting

Portfolio Management

  • Monitor loan performance and ensure timely repayment
  • Follow up on overdue loans
  • Maintain strong client relationships through field visits

Qualifications

  • Education:
    • 10+2 / 10+3 / TVET Level II–IV / Diploma / Degree in:
      • Economics
      • Management
      • Marketing
      • Public Administration
      • Rural Development
      • Agricultural Economics or related fields
  • Experience:
    • Minimum 1 year relevant experience

Required Skills

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Basic computer skills
  • Good analytical and problem-solving ability
  • Knowledge of financial and economic concepts
  • Integrity, responsibility, and teamwork

Location

  • Addis Ababa & surrounding branches under West Regional Operations

Position 2: Branch Manager ‘D’

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage overall branch operations and portfolio quality
  • Lead staff, supervise daily operations, and ensure service quality
  • Chair branch credit committee and approve loans
  • Develop business plans and marketing strategies
  • Ensure compliance with policies and procedures

Qualifications

  • Education:
    • Degree/Diploma in:
      • Economics
      • Accounting
      • Business Administration
      • Management
      • Banking & Finance or related fields
  • Experience:
    • 4 years (Degree) or 6 years (Diploma) relevant experience

Required Skills

  • Leadership and team management
  • Financial planning and basic accounting knowledge
  • Strong communication and marketing skills
  • Computer proficiency (MS Office)
  • Motorcycle driving skill & license

Location

  • Addis Ababa, Oromia, SNNPR, Central Ethiopia
