Open Positions & Specific Eligibility Criteria

Suba Engineering PLC enforces a precise vetting framework. Profiles must meet or exceed the following baseline capabilities:

1. Junior Office Engineer

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree (BSc) in Civil Engineering, Construction Technology and Management (COTM), or a directly relevant technical discipline.
  • Experience: Zero (0) years and above (Fresh Graduates Welcome).
  • Required Quantity: 4 positions
  • Duty Station: Addis Ababa (Corporate Head Office)

2. Senior Office Engineer

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree (BSc) in Civil Engineering, Construction Technology and Management (COTM), or related fields.
  • Experience: Minimum of six (6) years of verified experience, of which at least three (3) years must be in an identical capacity within construction or contracting corporations.
  • Required Quantity: 2 positions
  • Duty Station: Addis Ababa (Corporate Head Office)

3. Accountant

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree (BA) or College Diploma in Business Management, Management, Accounting, or a related business discipline.
  • Experience: Minimum of five (5) years of experience, of which at least three (3) years must be in an identical capacity explicitly within construction firms.
  • Required Quantity: 2 positions
  • Duty Station: Addis Ababa (Corporate Head Office)

4. Project Accountant

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree (BA) or College Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
  • Experience: Minimum of four (4) years for Diploma holders or two (2) years and above for Degree holders within a construction corporate framework.
  • Required Quantity: 2 positions
  • Duty Station: Addis Ababa (Gelan Gura Site)

5. Senior Accountant

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree (BA) or College Diploma in Business Management, Management, Accounting, or a related discipline.
  • Experience: Minimum of six (6) years of experience, of which at least four (4) years must be in an identical capacity explicitly within construction firms.
  • Required Quantity: 2 positions
  • Duty Station: Addis Ababa (Corporate Head Office)

6. Project Manager

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree (BSc) in Civil Engineering, Construction Technology and Management (COTM), or a related technical discipline.
  • Experience: Minimum of eight (8) years of professional track experience, of which at least four (4) years must be in building construction project works.
  • Required Quantity: 3 positions
  • Duty Station: Ambo / Jemma Projects

7. Storekeeper

  • Education: College Diploma or TVET Level IV in Purchasing & Materials Management, Logistics and Supply Chain Coordination, or related fields.
  • Experience: Minimum of two (2) years of active, proven work experience within construction companies.
  • Required Quantity: 2 positions
  • Duty Station: Addis Ababa (Gelan Gura Site)

8. Light Vehicle Driver

  • Education & Licensing: 10th Grade National Certificate and above with an applicable active driving license.
  • Experience: Minimum of three (3) years and above of documented driving experience.
  • Required Quantity: 3 positions
  • Duty Station: Addis Ababa

9. Heavy Duties Driver

  • Education & Licensing: 10th Grade National Certificate and above with a valid Heavy-Duty / Public Transport driving license.
  • Experience: Minimum of four (4) years and above of verifiable experience.
  • Required Quantity: 3 positions
  • Duty Station: Jemma / Ambo Project Sites

10. Auto Electrician

  • Education: College Diploma or TVET Level IV in Automotive Electricity, Auto Mechanics, or equivalent.
  • Experience: Minimum of three (3) years of proven experience in an identical role within construction or heavy machinery maintenance setups.
  • Required Quantity: 2 positions
  • Duty Station: Ambo Project Site

11. Excavator Operator

  • Education & Licensing: 10th Grade National Certificate and above paired with a specialized heavy equipment machine operation driving license.
  • Experience: Minimum of four (4) years and above of active work experience inside construction environments.
  • Required Quantity: 3 positions
  • Duty Station: Ambo / Addis Ababa Sites

12. Roller Operator

  • Education & Licensing: Specialized Machine Operator driving license.
  • Experience: Minimum of four (4) years and above of active machinery operations within road construction settings.
  • Required Quantity: 2 positions
  • Duty Station: Ambo Project Site
