🎓 Required Educational Qualification & Experience
Education:
- Master’s Degree in Social Science, Development Studies, Socioeconomic Studies, or other Social disciplines related to Environmental & Social Risk Management
OR - Bachelor’s Degree in the above-mentioned fields
Experience:
- 7 years (for Master’s) or 9 years (for Bachelor’s) of general experience in social development management
Including experience in:
- Public consultation and public hearings
- Participatory research methods (observation, surveys)
- Participatory rural and urban appraisal
- Participatory poverty assessments
- Participatory monitoring and evaluation
- Grievance redress mechanisms
✔️ Minimum 5 years of specific experience in social safeguard issues and social risk management
✔️ Strong knowledge and experience in:
- Physical and economic displacement and rehabilitation
- Preparation and implementation of Resettlement Action Plans (RAP)
- Gender analysis
- World Bank Environmental & Social Safeguard Policies
- IFC Performance Standards
