1. Human Resources and Administration Officer

Role Summary: Serves as the focal point for recruitment, contracting, and personnel administration in Dollo Ado. The officer ensures compliance with NRC policies and local labor laws while managing employee records and office administration.

  • Key Responsibilities:
    • Lead recruitment, induction, and placement activities.
    • Manage pension registrations and organizational ID card issuance.
    • Maintain up-to-date employee archives and personnel files.
    • Create and manage a CV pool for emergency recruitment.

2. WASH and Shelter Assistant

Role Summary: Supports the planning and technical oversight of construction for water systems and shelters. This includes water quality management, preparing BoQs, and coordinating with local stakeholders.

  • Key Responsibilities:
    • Supervise WASH and shelter construction to ensure compliance with international standards.
    • Prepare designs, BoQs, cost estimates, and payment certificates.
    • Conduct water quality testing (chlorination, jar testing) and maintain equipment.
    • Represent NRC in sub-cluster and stakeholder coordination meetings.

3. Finance Coordinator

    • Review and consolidate grant management reports.

4. Roving Community Feedback Mechanism (CFM) Coordinator

Role Summary: Leads the implementation and oversight of feedback channels across Ethiopia. This role ensures that community concerns are recorded, analyzed, and used to improve program quality and safety.

    • Roll out and operationalize CFM Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
    • Ensure immediate escalation (within 24 hours) of sensitive safeguarding or protection feedback.
    • Analyze feedback data to identify trends and produce monthly dashboards.
    • Provide technical support and mentoring to Area Office teams through regular field travel.
  • Requirements:
    • Education: BA/MA/MSc in Economics, Statistics, Business Administration, or related fields.
    • Experience: Minimum 5 years in the NGO sector, specifically in accountability, CFM, or community engagement.
    • Skills: Deep knowledge of PSEA, safeguarding, and the Core Humanitarian Standard (CHS).
