Core Responsibilities & Scope of Operations
The Junior General Services Officer is tasked with assisting in the planning, coordination, and day-to-day oversight of corporate infrastructure, fleet, and safety ecosystems to ensure an efficient, safe, and cost-effective working environment.
- Fleet & Transport Logistics: Administer company fleet operations. This includes maintaining vehicle inventory, organizing preventive maintenance schedules, monitoring fuel allocations, reviewing GPS journey logs, tracking driver safety, and handling vehicle insurance renewals and claims.
- Facilities & Civil Maintenance: Oversee standard building maintenance, utility systems (electricity, water, internet), structural repairs, space utilization, and office lease records. Supervise outsourced services including facility cleaning, gardening, and laundry.
- Security & Access Control: Assist in the deployment of security personnel, gate access control protocols, and monitoring the authorized circulation of people and vehicles on company premises.
- Canteen & Utility Management: Supervise internal canteen operations to ensure strict adherence to food safety, hygiene, nutritional standards, and budget controls.
- Liaison & Procurement Support: Assist in managing routine communications with government municipalities, utility providers, and external stakeholders. Coordinate the procurement, warehousing, and inventory tracking of general service supplies and corporate assets.
Applicant Profile & Selection Requirements
Educational Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Management, Business Administration, Logistics & Supply Chain Management, Facilities Management, Engineering, or a closely related professional field.
Experience & Core Competencies:
- Minimum of 2 years of direct experience in general services, facility management, or corporate administration.
- Strong functional knowledge of fleet management, logistics tracking, and service contract administration.
- High adaptability and strong coordination, networking, and action-planning skills.
