Position: Senior Information Technology Risk Management Officer

Position Summary & Scope of Work
As a Senior Information Technology Risk Management Officer, you will oversee the institution’s digital and technology risk frameworks. Core duties include:
- Designing, implementing, and monitoring robust IT risk management methodologies across the institution’s technological infrastructure.
- Evaluating digital systems, networks, and financial application platforms to identify potential security vulnerabilities, data threats, and operational gaps.
- Conducting structured risk research and evaluations to ensure alignment with financial service regulatory requirements.
- Collaborating with technical and management teams to build strong mitigation strategies, safeguarding corporate and client financial data assets.
Absolute Eligibility & Vetting Thresholds
VisionFund MFI maintains competitive standards for its senior technical risk roles. Candidates must fulfill the following baseline parameters:
- Education: Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree (BA/BSc) in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a directly relevant technical field. Possessing an active IT Risk Management Certification (such as CRISC, CISA, or equivalent) provides significant added value.
- Experience: A minimum of five (5) years of relevant professional work experience, of which at least two (2) years must be in a senior-level IT Risk Management position explicitly within Banks, Microfinance Institutions (MFIs), or other financial service corporations.
- Core Skills: Advanced technological and digital literacy; deep knowledge of industry-standard risk and research methodologies; exceptional analytical, evaluation, and reporting capabilities; and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Communication: Excellent written and oral communication skills.
