Premier Switch Solutions S. Co. (PSS) is a leading electronic payment services consortium owned by six prominent private banks: Awash Bank, Nib International Bank, United Bank (Wegagen Bank), Berhan International Bank, Addis International Bank, and Cooperative Bank of Oromia. Established to deliver shared modern payment platforms and state-of-the-art infrastructure to financial institutions, PSS is currently executing a targeted talent acquisition drive to reinforce its technology division.

Position: Senior Network Administrator

  • Place of Work: Addis Ababa
  • Salary & Benefits: As per the Company scale with an attractive benefit package.
  • Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in ICT, Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
  • Required Training & Certifications: Professional training in Cisco CCNA, CCNA Security, or equivalent. Relevant advanced industry certifications are highly advantageous.
  • Experience: Minimum of five (5) years of proven experience in network administration, including network infrastructure management, network design/implementation, security, Internet protocols, and system administration.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Infrastructure Design & Compliance: Execute the design, setup, installation, and integration of various networks to meet business requirements in full compliance with PCI DSS and other relevant security standards.
  • Policy Implementation: Draft, update, and implement policies, procedures, and process documentation for the network infrastructure through continuous monitoring and review.
  • Vendor & Service Management: Manage infrastructure vendor relationships and monitor all network support activities within established OLAs and SLAs.
  • Security & Access Control: Manage and implement network security procedures, provide/revoke user privileges, and securely handle user access management.
  • Maintenance & Optimization: Involve in the maintenance, upgrade, backup configuration, and migration of network systems; ensure system logs are regularly archived, backed up, and retained.
  • Business Continuity: Implement infrastructure capacity planning, conduct regular network performance metrics, and orchestrate business continuity measures.
  • Team Development: Provide training, coaching, and mentoring to junior staff members within the unit towards effective career development.
  • Incident Response: Promptly attend to network incidents, interruptions, malfunctions, and system quality reductions at any moment to ensure high system availability.
