The institution is executing a targeted talent acquisition drive to reinforce its project operations and head office administration teams. Qualified, experienced, and highly competent individuals are invited to review the open positions outlined below.

Open Positions

1. Finance Manager

  • Place of Work / Duty Station: Jimma Housing Project (Jimma Mega Housing Project)
  • Reports To: Chief Finance Officer (CFO)
  • Salary & Benefits: Negotiable, commensurate with qualifications and experience
  • Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. Professional certifications (such as CPA, ACCA, CFA, or equivalent) are highly advantageous.
  • Experience: Minimum of eight (8) or more years of progressive experience in finance or accounting, with at least two (2) years in a managerial/supervisory role.
  • Key Skills & Knowledge: Deep understanding of IFRS and local tax regulations, proficiency in financial software and MS Excel, and strong financial analytical skills.
  • Key Responsibilities:
    • Financial Planning & Analysis: Develop complex project budgets and long-term financial forecasts; monitor financial performance and provide variance analysis while advising management on financial risks and opportunities.
    • Accounting & Reporting: Oversee day-to-day accounting operations; ensure timely preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with local laws and international standards.
    • Cash Flow & Treasury Management: Manage cash flow, corporate banking relationships, and investment strategies to optimize working capital and guarantee operational liquidity.
    • Compliance & Audit: Ensure strict adherence to regulatory requirements and internal policies; coordinate internal and external audits while implementing strong internal controls to safeguard company assets.
    • Team Leadership: Supervise, mentor, and build capacity within the finance staff to support ongoing organizational growth.

2. Senior Property Admin

  • Place of Work / Duty Station: Addis Ababa Head Office
  • Reports To: Property Administration Head
  • Salary & Benefits: Negotiable, commensurate with qualifications and experience
  • Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Inventory Management, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Experience: Requires six (6) to eight (8) years of active experience in warehouse operations, inventory control, or retail management, with proven exposure to handling ERP systems.
  • Key Skills & Competencies: Strong knowledge of inventory control frameworks, proficiency in MS Excel/inventory software, structural organizational abilities, attention to detail, and cross-functional leadership skills.
  • Key Responsibilities:
    • Inventory Management: Maintain precise records of all incoming and outgoing materials; conduct regular stock verifications, cycle counts, and reconciliations while checking safety stock levels to avoid operational shortages.
    • Material Handling & Storage: Supervise loading, unloading, and safe material handling within the store environment; ensure items are cleanly and safely organized using FIFO/LIFO methodologies.
    • Documentation & Reporting: Prepare vouchers, keep ERP / inventory management software records perfectly updated, and generate daily, weekly, and monthly stock reports.
    • Compliance & Safety: Coordinate directly with the Accounts and Purchase departments for documentation, compliance, and audits; ensure safety and quality standard alignments.
